Quality Upholstery Since 1935

Margaret and Marion Todd purchased Sargent Seat Cover Company from Henry Sargent in January of 1955. The company was located at 1410-12 Main Street. There were two employees and a shelter large enough to work on two cars out of the weather. Their son, Mike, who is now president, was three years old at the time. In 1962 the property at the corner of First and Hubbard was purchased and the old grocery store was remodeled and the east wing was added. In the following years several other adjoining properties were purchased and new buildings added. In 1994 Sargent Cycle Products was started by Mark Todd and is located in the building next door which was purchased from an optical grinding Company. The marine and custom canvas division was started in 1996 with a new wing to accommodate large boats. The company was incorporated in 1962 and now consists of Marion Todd CEO, Mike Todd President, and Mark Todd, President of Sargent Cycle Products NA.
